The history of kutani had ended once,but it's revived by some Japanese People.

There are six styles in Kutani's design

"Old-Kutani" "Shoza" "Mokubei" "Eiraku" "Yoshidaya" "Iidaya"

Old-Kutani

It's painted by imitating the style that was used before the history of Kutani had ended once.

Masculine style is the characteristic of this style.

Shoza

Shoza draws a colorful pattern using various Kutani's style.

It's often painted people in Shoza style.

Mokubei

It was made by a kiln that was launched by a printer called Mokubei.

It is characterized by deep colors of red and green.

It's used 4 color

for painting in Yoshidaya style.

Hanatsume

It is a handle with many flowers drawn.
It is characterized by a cute pattern.


In the history of Kutani it is popular with the new pattern.

Ginpaku

It expresses a handle using a thin foil of silver.
A glaze is applied on top of it and it becomes a beautiful gradation.

It is the technology of the newly born Kutani.

Aochibu/Shirochibu
